Weekend Workshops & Lessons

Several years ago the Green Mesa Ranch integrated Weekend Workshops into their summer and fall program due to feedback they had received from clinic participants.  Some people are more comfortable in a smaller group and some only want to participate with their family or friends. Weekend Workshops were also an opportunity for those clients that were unable to take off work during the week. 

The Workshops have become very popular with our out-of-town visitors.  The two-day workshops focus on one, two or three topics such as saddle fitting, trailer loading, ground work, getting over your fears, gaining your horses respect, etc.  The workshops are customized to fit the clients needs so basically cover any topic you want to without any pressure from a large group of students.  The Workshops require a minimum of three people and a maximum of six and the price is $100/day plus $20 for board.

Call Johnny to arrange for a private workshop concerning any issues related to your horse and to arrange the date and time.  Workshops do not have to be held on weekends.

NEW THIS YEAR -- CHILDREN'S LESSONS!

Private lessons for children will be available this year at the Green Mesa Ranch. Call Johnny to discus details. $45.00 for a 1/2 hour one-on-one lesson. Helmets are required.

Private adult lessons also available.
